Not sure how I found you, maybe LinkedIn, or craigslist.
I’m looking for an experienced WP developer. Wondering if you might be interested. We have regular part-time work available, maybe full time for right person.
About me: I live in Nashville and I’m involved / partnered with the owner of eReleases.com, Mickie Kennedy, in several ventures in addition to the core business in Baltimore. At present we’re using a full time developer in Philippines primarily for small well-defined tasks, a more experienced Eastern European developer group for higher-level work, and occasionally a local Nashville developer for other well-defined work.
The European guy is overall best (high capability level, and very cost-effective) but it is difficult for us to get work from him except in emergency situations – seems like he’s just too busy. He’s cheap but we haven’t even spent $2K with him in last 60 days, and we would have preferred to get MUCH more from him.
My local friend is probably equally or more experienced than the European guy, but unfortunately suffers from an inability to just get stuff done. We ended a full time relationship with him after watching him go down rabbit hole after rabbit hole for 5 months with little to show for it. I still use him for jobs that can be well-defined and costed, and for occasional time-critical situations.
I really don’t care if the person we work with is in Nashville. I just prefer that the person be readily available during normal Central time hours. The main thing I’m looking for is someone who is results-oriented.
